If you were 14 years old, what would inspire you?
My girlfriend's nephew, Mike, is 14 years old and really passionate. Last week I saw his fashion designs (below) and told him he should start a blog, then ask people to review them. 2 days later, he put a site online all by himself. I motivated him and now I am asking you to inspire him. If you were 14 years old again (not even in high school yet), what advice would you want to hear?

That is awesome!. My oldest son will be 14 in June and I cant get him inspired about anything other than xbox 360... he approached me about learning html and stuff and that lasted about 3 days....

I love the idea of using a blog to create an open platform to showcase young talent and get unbiased reviews. I hope it's a great success!
To Russ: If you didn't already try it, I wanted to suggest that you show your son how easy it is to create a blog with one of the free templates. Gets you online with zero investment, and it's a great way to ease into learning HTML.
